I-SEA Renews Multi-Year Partnership with World Surf League
I-SEA On Board as Official Sponsor of the WSL, Presenting Partner of Tahiti CT, Official Sponsor of WSL Rising Tides for 2026 and 2027
LOS ANGELES, Calif., USA (Wednesday, January 14, 2026) - The World Surf League (WSL), the global home of competitive surfing, announces the renewal of the partnership with I-SEA, a family-owned and operated San Clemente, CA-based brand, as the Official Global Eyewear of the Championship Tour (CT) for 2026 and 2027.
"We are excited to extend our partnership with I-SEA, a family-owned brand that continues to support the WSL community," said Nicole Metzger, WSL Chief Revenue Officer. "This renewal marks a significant return of an eyewear category partner at the global Championship Tour level. We look forward to kicking off the 2026 season, and the 50th year of the World Tour working alongside I-SEA throughout the CT to showcase our shared values of environmental sustainability and commitment to the surf community."
"Building on the momentum of our 2024 and 2025 partnership, we're excited to expand our presence with the WSL in 2026," said Joey Santley, CEO and Co-Founder, I-SEA. "The renewal of our partnership, coinciding with the WSL's 50th year of the World Tour, feels especially meaningful. From returning as Presenting Partner of the Lexus Tahiti Pro to supporting elite athletes like Cole Houshmand and Jack Robinson, and now investing in the future through the WSL Rising Tides program, this partnership allows us to connect with fans, inspire the next generation, and advance our mission of protecting the ocean and the communities that depend on it."
This renewal builds on the successful 2024 and 2025 partnership between WSL and I-SEA and will see the brand return as Presenting Partner for the Tahiti CT event, the Lexus Tahiti Pro Presented by I-SEA, and the brand will continue to activate at select events throughout the year where fans will again have the opportunity to purchase their high-quality and protective eyewear onsite and online. I-SEA also continues to support individual WSL surfers, including Cole Houshmand and Jack Robinson, with more athletes to come in 2026.
New for 2026, I-SEA will be an official sponsor of the WSL Rising Tides, a program designed to inspire the next generation by bringing together young surfers with WSL athletes and local legends at events around the globe. WSL and I-SEA will work together to activate the I-SEA brand mission of conserving, protecting, and restoring society and nature throughout the 2026 season, including various activations with fans and through the WSL Rising Tides program.
