About Sawyer
Hailing from San Clemente, California, Sawyer Lindblad has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting young talents in professional surfing. Growing up surfing the legendary waves of Lower Trestles, Sawyer developed the powerful, aggressive, and highly technical style that has become her trademark. After dominating the junior ranks, she captured her first US Open of Surfing title in 2023, earning a spot on the WSL Championship Tour at just 18 years old. She went on to earn 2024 WSL Rookie of the Year honors and made history again in 2025 by claiming her second US Open of Surfing title. In 2026, Sawyer continued her rise among the world's elite, securing her first Championship Tour victory at the Rio Pro and breaking into the world's top five. With her fearless approach, competitive drive, and progressive surfing, Sawyer is positioning herself as a legitimate world title contender and a strong prospect to represent Team USA at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
